Meet Nicole
I was raised with the simple but radical belief that we should care for one another. As a lifelong Ohioan, I know many of my friends and neighbors share that same value.
Here in Ohio, we look out for each other. We believe everyone deserves to feel safe, send their kids to great schools, build a secure career, and enjoy daily life in their community.
That spirit of community shines across Ohio House District 19. We are home to some of the state’s best schools, thriving small businesses, award-winning libraries, and beautiful parks and community centers. From my neighborhood in Old Brooklyn, down through Brecksville, east to Solon, and north to Highland Heights, every corner of our district has something to be proud of.
But, to be candid, extremists leading our state are making it harder to uphold these values. Wages aren’t keeping pace with the cost of living, housing prices are rising out of reach, and families are facing new environmental and economic challenges. Meanwhile, our conservative legislature is focused on stripping school funding, rolling back voting rights, restricting healthcare access, and targeting women and marginalized communities.
I’m running because our district deserves a strong, unapologetic voice in the Statehouse—someone who will fight for fair wages, fully fund our schools, and pass no-nonsense policies that strengthen families and communities.
For the last four years, I’ve worked as an organizer with SEIU 1199, representing healthcare and social service workers across northern Ohio. Every day I see how hard people work—and how hard it is to get by. Nurses, educators, and mental health providers are living paycheck to paycheck while holding up the very foundation of our communities. I’ve fought alongside them for better wages, benefits, and working conditions so they can focus on what truly matters.
I will bring those same values and that same fight to Columbus. Together, we can build an Ohio where every family has the opportunities, support, and security to thrive—and where the next generation sees Northeast Ohio not as a place to leave, but as a place to build their future.
